The uniqueness of the Galaxy Kitchen lies in its versatility and optimal utilization of space. It is designed to accommodate comfortable family dining for up to six people over a large wooden table, while the island provides additional space for larger party events and cooking. The kitchen cabinets offer a wide variety of storage options, with six large drawers on each side of the island. The countertop of the island is divided into two parts - wooden with a metal stand and stone with angled sides, adding to the aesthetic appeal. The backsplash of the kitchen wall is an illuminated colored glass, while the top cabinets also feature illuminated glass backing, creating a warm, inviting ambiance.
The Galaxy Kitchen is realized using veneer for cabinets, porcelain slab for counters, and illuminated artistic glass for the backsplash. The table on the island stands on metal legs, adding a touch of modernity. The kitchen cabinets and island are engineered and optimized to be built from standard, common hardware and materials, making it possible for any carpenter's shop to produce this kitchen.
Paradise City's design team, Dmitriy Skorozhenko and Anna Yuritsina, have created a kitchen design that optimizes cooking performance. The storage cabinets and appliances are positioned to make the cooking process comfortable and convenient. The dining table is integrated with a kitchen island, bringing the cook right to the party. The kitchen Island is right by the wine cooler, making it an ideal space to host and serve a wine party.
The design project, which was completed in 2021 in Miami, USA, was based on the understanding that modern kitchen spaces have evolved from being just food preparation areas to becoming entertainment spaces, family hubs, and party hangout spaces. The challenge was to combine aesthetics with the practical aspect of the kitchen space, creating a design that is both beautiful and practical.
The Galaxy Kitchen is a perfect blend of cooking and entertainment functionality. It features three zones: dining, cooking, and entertaining, complemented by a unique architectural style. The kitchen cabinets have unusual geometrical shapes, and the left and right tall cabinets are angled to look like columns. The backsplash on the dark counter is an illuminated blue colored glass, adding a touch of elegance. The top cabinets with clear glass doors also feature illuminated blue glass, creating a stunning visual effect. The design copyrights belong to Paradise City Inc.
